Destiny‘s the game that just keeps on giving and behold – it’s now giving us a brand new Playstation 4 bundle, complete with a map to the cosmos.
Sony’s announced today that a glacier-white, Destiny-inspired 500GB PS4 model is hitting store shelves this fall with a physical copy of its inspiration, Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, which includes Destiny, Expansions I and II, and this September’s The Taken King.
You’ll also get an upgrade to the Digital Collector’s Edition, which includes “three exotic Guardian class items with XP bonuses, three classic-specific emotes, three armor shaders, as well as the early access weapons pack.”
Championing the galactic scale of its heritage, the system features a map of the cosmos in silver with the Guardian’s crest set in gold smack dab in the center. Snazzy.
If you watched Sony’s E3 Press Conference last month, you know that Destiny: The Taken King adds a new campaign, several Guardian sub-classes with new Supers, rewards, weapons, and PvP maps. Existing players on PS3 will also be given the opportunity to update to the current-version on PS4 with all their progress intact.
From now ’til Spring 2016, PS4 players will have exclusive access to a “co-op Strike (Echo Chamber), a PvP multiplayer map (Sector 618), three legendary gear sets (Hesperos, Azoth Bend, and Neuroghast), plus an exotic scout rifle (the Jade Rabbit).”
