<p>Maxis, developer of the world-famous The Sims series, has confirmed that The Sims 4 will not include any always-online features such as what we have seen with the recently released SimCity.</p>
<p>This news broke after Grand Rodiek, a producer of The Sims 4, spoke to VG247 saying that it would be an <em>&#8220;offline, client-based game.&#8221; </em>He continued to say that The Sims 4 is only being planned to be released on PC and Mac currently.</p>
