The Walking Dead: Michonne Premiere Date Announcement

Big announcement from Telltale Games about their much anticipated Walking Dead miniseries starring the sword-wielding fan favorite Michonne: The first episode (In Too Deep) of the three-episode series will premiere on the 23rd of this month for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.

The first episode will find Michonne joining fellow-survivor Pete and his crew aboard The Companion as they sail up the coast looking for other survivors and supplies.

However, when they receive a desperate signal for help, it brings them to the site of a massacre where Michonne and her new friends are drawn to the floating colony of Monroe. The one responsible for the massacre may still be hiding in the colony, causing tensions to escalate.

The second episode, Give No Shelter, is set to air in March, with the third and final episode, What We Deserve, finishing up the Walking Dead miniseries in April.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is an exploration of Michonne’s absence from the comics in issues #126 – #139. Players and fans will get to experience what took Michonne away from the group, and what the events were that brought her back.
