It may come as no small surprise that the season finale to Telltale’s The Walking Dead took the number one spot on the PSN’s sales list, but it’s still nice to have a solid confirmation. In fact, all five episodes of the season are on the list at various points, taking the 1, 7, 10, 11 and 19 spots. With the game and TV show both on break until next year, we only have the comics to give us that ‘punch in the gut’ feeling. I think we’ll manage to last somehow.

Rounding out the top 5, we have Assassin’s Creed III, Sonic Adventure 2, Okami HD (!) and the recently released PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale. It really is a pleasure to see Okami HD doing so well. I was actually a little worried about it.

The PlayStation Blog goes on to list the top titles in other categories, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified being the top Vita seller (uh-oh), but really, The Walking Dead being the top dog last month is what’s most important here. Well, that, and the fact that we have to get Declassified out of that number one spot for Vita titles; Persona 4 Golden is at number 3, so there’s still a chance.
