It was revealed today that Sega will be continuing to make games in their long running Yakuza franchise. This action adventure series explores the life of Japanese gangsters and focuses primarily on Kazuma Kiryu of the Tojo clan. In a interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, series supervisor Toshihiro Nagohi confirmed that Sega is hard at work on the next instalment.

The big worry for Western fans of Yakuza is whether this sequel will be localised or not. The last two games, Yakuza 5 for the PS3 and Yakuza: Ishin for PS3 and PS4 were both Japanese only. Sega may reveal their localisation plans when they show more about the new game later this week.
