The last of the Initial D trilogy is coming to a close on February 6, 2016 in Japan with the release of Shin Gekijo-ban Initial D: Legend 3 -Muson- Day.
This trailer features the third Initial D theme song, “September’s 7th Day,” by Backdraft Smiths. This anime movie trilogy puts the original story from Shuuichi Shigeno’s manga onto the big screen. Takaumi Fujiwara works as a gas station attendant while attending high school. He also works at night as a delivery boy for his father’s shop. Takaumi has incredible driving skills which he practices on his father’s car, becoming a talented amateur racer. Now racing groups around his prefecture are challenging him to see if he really is a road legend.
