Thirsty Thursday Culture Cocktail – November 10, 2016

<p>Welcome to this week&&num;8217&semi;s Thirsty Thursday Culture Cocktail&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>No matter who you voted for&comma; the 2016 election is finally over&excl; We can all finally get back to TV&comma; advertisements&comma; and the news going back to normal&excl; Wait &&num;8230&semi; let me rephrase that&semi; we can all finally get back to TV and advertisements going back to normal&excl; We&&num;8217&semi;re all playing some games to relax and cope with all the madness and thought we&&num;8217&semi;d share what we&&num;8217&semi;re sipping on&excl; So&comma; without further ado&comma; this is what we&&num;8217&semi;re all drinking this week and how we think it&&num;8217&semi;s going to go down&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;115152" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-115152" style&equals;"width&colon; Once you are completely disgusted by humanity as a whole&comma; consume 1 oz of whiskey at a time until you can no longer feel your legs&period; &lpar;This may vary based on your tolerance level&semi; additional shots may be required&period;&rpar; Then&comma; in no specific order&comma; retreat into the remaining ingredients and try to forget the outside world&period; If tears begin to flow&comma; try this cocktail&excl; It is best served with games such as <em>The Last of Us<&sol;em>&comma; or some titles by Bioware&comma; which enable same sex relationships&period; This cocktail is also best served in tight knit groups of friends who can help you maintain hope for the future&period; I decided to see Japan through some developers&&num;8217&semi; eyes&period; <em>Yakuza 3<&sol;em> walks me through parts of Okinawa and Tokyo&comma; <em>Human Revolution<&sol;em> allows me to see the world&&num;8217&semi;s future through their eyes and <em>Persona 2<&sol;em> allows me to see their urban legends and folktales&period; I&&num;8217&semi;m ripping a whole in my body and filling it with alcohol&comma; sadness&comma; and hope for the future&period; I&&num;8217&semi;m replaying <em>Bioshock Infinite<&sol;em> as it&&num;8217&semi;s one of my favorite games and it&&num;8217&semi;s the only way I can feel like I&&num;8217&semi;m making a difference in the fight against freedom and all things awful &&num;8211&semi; other than of course also being politically involved&period; Regina Spektor&&num;8217&semi;s album <em>&&num;8216&semi;Remember Us to Life&&num;8217&semi;<&sol;em> has been on repeat since it first released since she&&num;8217&semi;s one of my favorite artists and her music gives me hope for how wonderful America and the world can truly be&period; Run the Jewels is just one of my favorite rap groups and Killer Mike always helps me handle anger&period;
