As it was revealed on Twitter only last night, director Zack Snyder has shared what will be Jason Momoa’s aquatic debut to the world of superheroes – trident and all.
The Game of Thrones and Stargate Atlantis alum will be sporting a mighty mullet and full beard as DC’s king of the sea in Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and from the looks of it, it’s the dawn of tattoo shops in Aquaman’s Atlantis.

“There is only one true King,” Snyder said on Twitter regarding the sea king’s big reveal. “Unite the Seven” also graces the picture you see above, which one can surmise refers to the seven seas the character’s ruled over in the comic world for decades – or possibly something deeper.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Krypton’s Superman, Ben Affleck as Gotham City’s Batman, and Gal Gadot as the Themyscera’s Wonder Woman and is directed by Zack Snyder. The superhero blockbuster is due March 26, 2016.
