Tomorrow’s the day – the day that Batman: Arkham Knight finally releases. After nearly eight months of waiting, fans will finally have their final entry into Rocksteady Studio’s fabled Arkham trilogy and with that comes a shiny new launch trailer to highlight everything you love about Batman…and then some.
Besides his insane driving skills, killer suit, and tenacity for beating the crap out of goons (with friends), Arkham Knight‘s final trailer does end with what may be a spoiler of sorts for a few fans intent on plugging their ears to any and all hints about the game’s storyline – including a certain someone’s death. If not, then feel free to watch at your own risk. What’s said may hardly be a revelation to hard-core comic fans who expect Batman stories to end the way they do.
Batman: Arkham Knight sees Batman at the end of the journey Rocksteady set him on in 2009’s Arkham Asylum and the one it continued in Arkham City as the Dark Knight fights his final battle against the worst his rogues gallery has to offer, including a darker mirror of himself: the Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight stars Jonathan Banks as Commissioner Gordon, John Noble as Scarecrow, Ashley Green as Barbara Gordon/Oracle, Troy Baker as Two-Face and Robin, Scott Porter as Nightwing, with Kevin Conroy rounding out its voice cast as Batman.
In less than 24 hours from the time of this writing, Arkham Knight will hit Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
