On Tuesday, Thoughtshelter Games will be releasing their fast paced turn based strategy game entitled A Druid’s Duel. In this world of Celtic lore, players will find the Realm a complete mess due to someone or something tampering with the natural flow of the Seasons. Summer days end with Winter storms and Autumn mornings are followed by Spring showers.
This worlds landscape has long been the responsibility of The Druids of the Esoteric Orders. Playing as Warren, a young druid just out of Esoteric training, players will need to figure out what is causing the Realm’s Seasons to be out of sorts from their predictable cycle.
A Druid’s Duel features a game board which changes upon the actions of its players and comes equipped with units who each boast powerful animal abilities. With over 130 levels, players can play the game in single player, local play, or online matches up to four players. The team at Thoughtshelter Games have developed a simple set of rules to make it easy for players to understand the basics. However, by increasing the difficulty level, it will take players months to master the intricacies of the board. Remember, nothing is random in the land of Six Seasons.
A Druid’s Duel will launch on Tuesday, February 25th, for Windows and Mac via Steam, Humble Store and other digital stores.
