My Time At Portia Preview

<p><em>My Time At Portia<&sol;em> is a promise made to PC and Switch gamers that I can’t help but buy in to&period; Akin to <em><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;e3-2016-stardew-valley-coming-consoles-holiday&sol;">Stardew Valley<&sol;a><&sol;em> and other games of the ilk&comma; the graphics lend a sense of childlike wonder that the retro-style graphics of its forebearers lacks&period; With that said&comma; the game&comma; so far&comma; has captured my imagination&period; This is not because it is another farm&comma; fight&comma; repeat title&comma; with a new skin&period; This is because the game embraces a near Pixar-like art style that makes time spent in the world that much more entertaining&period; Character customization is at the forefront of the game and the first thing you do&period; While all the characters look to be age-adverse&comma; the magic in the creator is how simple it is while also offering something that allows you to create a child or an adult with the most minor of tweaks&period; Is the game going to take over the world&quest; Probably not yet as it is still in early access on Steam&period; Is it going to be a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;must have” on Switch&quest; I think – if the direction of the game continues as it has so far – that will be an easy yes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;133780" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-133780" style&equals;"width&colon; 1920px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"wp-image-133780 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2018&sol;01&sol;30000913&sol;5WmPhr&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1920" height&equals;"1080" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-133780" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">My Time in Portia&comma; Team 17<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>While my time playing <em>My Time At Portia<&sol;em> has been very short so far&comma; the game has me wanting to dig in deeper and spend more time&period; There are a slew of games on the docket right now and making time for each is a challenge&comma; but something keeps calling me back to Portia&period; Maybe it is the art style that is instantly relaxing&comma; or maybe it is the promise of a bigger world to explore&period; Whatever it is&comma; though&comma; there is a bit of magic in the beginnings of the game that grab you and make you want to stick around&period; We will keep you updated as the game progresses and we have more time in this mysterious land of Portia&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
