So we’re finally here, February 20th 2013, otherwise known as the day that Sony are rumored to be revealing their next generation console to the public at their event in New York City.
The PlayStation 4 has had a lot of coverage recently, suggesting that the console will stream games from the internet, will not be backwards compatible with PlayStation 3 games and may even feature touch-capabilities in its controller. Later today we finally find out if this is all true.
As we previously posted at the start of this week, IGN will be live streaming the entire event on their website although a specific page doesn’t seem to have been set up as of yet. IGN have also stated that they will be hosting an hour-live show beforehand as well as discussions/rewind theaters after the conference to help the PlayStation magic stay.
You’ll be able to watch the PlayStation conference through IGN’s website, YouTube, Video App or Roku App so there isn’t any reason why you won’t be able to join in with the PlayStation festivities.
The times which IGN are broadcasting are:
- 14:00 Pacific-Time
- 17:00 Eastern-Time
- 22:00 UK-Time
So what are you hoping for?
