Tom Clancy’s The Division Revealed, Coming to PS4 and Xbox One Next Year

<p>Ubisoft ended their conference with <em>Tom Clancy&&num;8217&semi;s The Division<&sol;em>&comma; another new IP&comma; and almost mimicked their conference last year&comma; where they initially revealed <em>Watch&lowbar;Dogs<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The Division<&sol;em> is set three weeks after a deadly pandemic hits New York City on Black Friday &lpar;the most holiest of days&rpar; and quickly spreads from person to person&comma; due to how long the virus can survive on a single dollar&period; The <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;blog&period;ubi&period;com&sol;tom-clancys-the-division-revealed-first-look-action-rpg&sol;">Ubisoft Blog<&sol;a> had this to say&comma; to fill in some of the history of <em>The Division<&sol;em>&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Back in 2001&comma; a group of scientists and politicians launched a project called Dark Winter&comma; an exercise to test the emergency response to a bio-terrorist attack&period; The simulation revealed how quickly everything would fall apart&comma; with massive civilian casualties and a complete breakdown of civil society&period; Or&comma; as the narration in <em>The Division’s<&sol;em> launch trailer says&comma; we’ve created a system so complicated that we don’t even know how to control it&period; Our society is a too-elegant house of cards&colon; remove just one&comma; and everything topples&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game also poses us with one question&colon; What will it take to save those fading remnants of civilization that cower in the dark crevices&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Check out the game&&num;8217&semi;s gameplay reveal below and get ready for <em>Tom Clancy&&num;8217&semi;s The Division<&sol;em> to release in 2014 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;nj&fjlig;6KwEAfg" width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen&equals;"allowfullscreen"><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;
