We’re back with the Top Five Stories of the Week. We have some great stories for you below. New DLC Released for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call
Publisher Square Enix has confirmed that Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call has received a new batch of DLC songs.
Curtain Call’s DLC consists of six songs and each track will be retailing at £0.89 (€0.99) on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
Similar to the Curtain Call DLC released earlier this month, the songs have been divided into two separate categories: “Battle Music Sequence” and “Field Music Sequence.”
The DLC songs, as always, are based on music from Square Enix’s well-known titles, such as Final Fantasy X-2, Chrono Trigger and NieR Replicant & NieR Gestalt.
Meanwhile, Square Enix has revealed that the DLC update includes two free Curtain Call tracks—“Struggle to the Death” and “Devil Lord Confrontation II”—available to download from March 19th to April 1st.

Evolve Gets Its First Paid DLC This Month
Turtle Rock has announced that its first paid DLC for Evolve will be out by the end of March. The pack includes:
- Two Maps- Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry. Both maps are free but Xbox One owners get them on March 31 while PlayStation 4 and PC players have to wait until April 30.
- The Behemoth- A new monster that can turn itself into a rolling bolder. It costs $14.99 but is free to those who received the Monster Expansion pack when they pre-ordered Evolve.

Sony Confirms Free PlayStation Plus Weekend
PlayStation Plus will be free this weekend in North America for PlayStation 4 owners, Sony has announced today.
Running from March 20th to March 22nd, the online multiplayer restriction will be lifted for non-PS Plus members.
The PS Plus discounts and free titles, on the other hand, are still reserved for those who are members of Sony’s paid subscription service.
Sony’s Anson Fong explained that the free PS Plus weekend is being held due to the popularity that the same promotional event received last month.
PlayStation Blog Europe, however, is yet to confirm if the PS Plus event will be taking place in the region.

Sony’s Summoning a God of War III: Remastered for PS4
If you thought that this generation couldn’t get enough remasters, than think again. This summer, Playstation 4 owners will get to experience Kratos’s death march to Mount Olympus all over again in the shiniest, grittiest kills that HD can offer.
If the trailer above looks a bit familiar to you – than by all means, it should. Sony’s announced today that God of War III (no, not 4, sorry) will be remastered for the PlayStation 4 in 1080p this July 14th.
The 2010 action-game debuted on the PlayStation 3 five years ago and its prequel, God of War: Ascension, released just two years ago this month. The remastered version will be in 1080p and 30 fps.
We actually kind of loved Ascension‘s multiplayer back in the day, if not its underdeveloped campaign. In the time since Ascension, Sony Santa Monica’s been hit hard with layoffs, though the company’s reportedly remained dedicated to making more games still, including this remaster, apparently.

Nintendo Announces New Mobile Deal, Teases “NX” Platform
No, Nintendo’s not going mobile just yet, but after today, it’s going to be letting someone else play with its IPs…on mobile.
At a press conference today, the company formally announced its new partnership with Japanese mobile developer and e-commerce provider, DeNA, with the intent of making all-new Nintendo games for mobile phones. Any and all Nintendo franchises are up for grabs and if you were holding your breath for old New Super Mario Bros. ports, forget about it. Ports of any old games will, by all accounts, not be in the cards.
You might remember DeNA as the company behind a recent Transformers mobile title and is working with Square on Final Fantasy Record Keeper. No games have been announced by either them or Nintendo yet.
And do you remember Club Nintendo? The folks at DeNA will apparently be some of the brains behind renewing the membership service, reportedly via Wii U, 3DS, and – coincidentally – PC. The as yet unnamed service is supposed to be out this year, but where in the world it’ll be is still unknown.
On top of all that, Nintendo let its biggest news slip: it’s apparently working on some kind of new game platform, but whether it’s hardware, software, or an outright home console is known to only the folks deep inside Nintendo right now.
“As proof that Nintendo maintains strong enthusiasm for the dedicated game system business, let me confirm that Nintendo is currently developing a dedicated game platform with a brand-new concept under the development codename ‘NX’ ” Iwata said. “It is too early to elaborate on the details of this project, but we hope to share more information with you next year.”
