<p>This was a crazy week and we had a crazy time covering the E3 event. We tried to cover everything we could and got many stories out faster than a bullet racing a horse. Details may be sparse on a few of these stories but that&#8217;s because that&#8217;s really all we knew at the moment. We got some exciting glimpses into the future of Next Gen on the PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and PC. From Destiny to Uncharted 4, Zelda to Assassins Creed, Little Big Planet 3 and oodles and oodles more news. We&#8217;ve condensed some of it down here for you in case you missed it or want a further read plus our biggest surprise and letdown. <p>Ubisoft has just shown off the first gameplay demo for Assassins Creed Unity. The demo showed an assassin sneaking through the streets of Paris and revealed that for the first time in the series you will be able to team up with 3 other assassins in online co-operative play. Apart from co-op the gameplay looked very similar to past Assassins Creed games but the setting of the French Revolution should offer some interesting scenarios.</p>

<p>While we learned that Rainbow Six Patriots was unceremoniously cancelled by Ubisoft we got good news that the next Rainbow Six iteration will be going next gen (only). Ubisoft officially announced Rainbow Six Siege, it will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal and is being built on the new Realblast engine.</p>

<p>Bonnie Ross, head of 343 Studios, has just officially revealed <em>Halo: The Master Chief Collection</em>, the rumored <em>Halo</em> compilation for Xbox One. This new game includes <em>Halo: Combat Evolved</em>, <em>Halo 2</em>, <em>Halo 3</em> and <em>Halo 4</em> with all their original levels and maps in 1080p whilst running at 60fps.</p>
<p>As 2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of <em>Halo 2</em>, that particular game will be getting the full remake treatment similar to <em>Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary</em>. Yet the collection won’t just feature old content, the digital live-action series <em>Halo: Nightfall</em> and in December it will be updated to include the beta for <em>Halo 5: Guardians</em>.</p>

<p>While we only got a small glimpse of the next title in the spectacular Naughty Dog franchise Uncharted it was enough to get us salivating and excited for more. Nathan Drake will return, thank God, in <em>Uncharted 4: A Theif&#8217;s End</em> sometime in 2015. Saying we&#8217;re excited for it would be an understatement.</p>

<p>For the second year in a row Nintendo opted out of doing a live E3 presentation. While the perception is out there that Nintendo is in the dog house, it would have really helped beat back that notion by having a strong LIVE showing for their upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles. Alas Nintendo decided to be more low key and feed into that narrative while also showing off some pretty hot titles. The Legends of Zelda Wii U is no joke. It may be exactly what Nintendo needs to revamp Wii U sales and become competitive again. As Bill O&#8217;Reilly famously screamed, &#8220;We&#8217;ll do it live!&#8221;, that should have been Nintendo&#8217;s mantra this year.</p>
