Assasins Creed Unity Has 4 Player Co-op

Ubisoft has just shown off the first gameplay demo for Assassins Creed Unity. The demo showed an assassin sneaking through the streets of Paris and revealed that for the first time in the series you will be able to team up with 3 other assassins in online co-operative play. Apart from co-op the gameplay looked very similar to past Assassins Creed games but the setting of the French Revolution should offer some interesting scenarios.

Ubisoft Cancels Rainbow Six Patriots but Announces Rainbow Six Siege

While we learned that Rainbow Six Patriots was unceremoniously cancelled by Ubisoft we got good news that the next Rainbow Six iteration will be going next gen (only). Ubisoft officially announced Rainbow Six Siege, it will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal and is being built on the new Realblast engine.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Hits Xbox One on November 11

Bonnie Ross, head of 343 Studios, has just officially revealed Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the rumored Halo compilation for Xbox One. This new game includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 with all their original levels and maps in 1080p whilst running at 60fps.

As 2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of Halo 2, that particular game will be getting the full remake treatment similar to Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Yet the collection won’t just feature old content, the digital live-action series Halo: Nightfall and in December it will be updated to include the beta for Halo 5: Guardians.

Legend of Zelda For Wii U Coming 2015

Not too many details have leaked out on Legend of Zelda for Wii U. So not much story to click over to, but it’s worth mentioning and noting that players have waited a long time for this game. It’s slated for a 2015 release and promises a more beautiful and expansive Hyrule to explore. More details coming for sure.

Destiny Beta kicks off July 17 on PS4, E3 Trailer

Sony dazzled us with new footage of Destiny at their E3 press conference. We got a glimpse of The Travelers battling The Darkness. We learned that the Destiny Beta will hit PS4 in July (yay!). And starting this Thursday and through the weekend, PS4 players will be able to play Destiny First Look Alpha. Click on over to watch the official E3 Trailer for Destiny!

Drake Returns in Uncharted 4 in 2015

While we only got a small glimpse of the next title in the spectacular Naughty Dog franchise Uncharted it was enough to get us salivating and excited for more. Nathan Drake will return, thank God, in Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End sometime in 2015. Saying we’re excited for it would be an understatement.

Biggest Letdown

Nintendo

For the second year in a row Nintendo opted out of doing a live E3 presentation. While the perception is out there that Nintendo is in the dog house, it would have really helped beat back that notion by having a strong LIVE showing for their upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles. Alas Nintendo decided to be more low key and feed into that narrative while also showing off some pretty hot titles. The Legends of Zelda Wii U is no joke. It may be exactly what Nintendo needs to revamp Wii U sales and become competitive again. As Bill O’Reilly famously screamed, “We’ll do it live!”, that should have been Nintendo’s mantra this year.
