The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel IV is coming to Switch in April!

The PC Version's release date will be announced later.

So, who is ready to see the next entry of Trails of Cold Steel? The Nintendo Switch version of TOCSIV is coming to floor us once again in April. The release of the game will be on April 9 in North America and Europe, and April 16 in Oceania. This release is a bit of a highlight because it means that the western release is coming less than a month after its Japanese release, which is March 18 (Thanks for this info, Gematsu!).

Class VII Reunion on the Switch!

PlayStation 4 players have been able to enjoy this game since October 2020. And, since we always bring you quality content, we reviewed the PS4 version as well. However, it’s time for Nintendo Switch owners to take part in the Erebonian Empire’s war. Unfortunately, PC players will still have to wait for the announcement of their version. However, the listing for the game has become available on Steam so maybe it won’t be long for us to get the game, right?

There’s a lot of hype surrounding the latest installment in the Trails of Cold Steel series. However, we will not tell any spoilers for those who are invested in the story from the previous three games. Just know that the students of Class VII, old and new, must unite with heroes from all over the continent to create the only chance the world has to be spared from total destruction. What will be the fate of Rean Schwarzer and the student from Class VII? Will we see old familiar faces along the way? Have you played other games in the Trails series?

All of these questions and more will be answered once the game comes out on Switch and PC. In the meantime, why don’t you take a refresher course? Here are our reviews of Trails of Cold Steel I, II, and III. What do you think about the Trails of Cold Steel IV release date announcement for the Nintendo Switch?
