<p>A couple of days ago we <a title="Hideo Kojima Looking for a Studio to Remake Metal Gear Solid Using Fox Engine" href="https://bagogames.com/kojima-looking-for-a-studio-to-remake-metal-gear-solid/">wrote a story</a> stating that Hideo Kojima was looking for a studio to remake the original <em>Metal Gear Solid</em> with the Fox Engine that&#8217;s also powering <em>Metal Gear Solid V</em>. Turns out, that&#8217;s not entirely true, as Kojima <a href="https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN/status/350053677396013056">took to Twitter</a> to clear things up.</p>
<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s a rumor about remaking MGS1+2, but that&#8217;s not true. It has been modified in the thread or something,&#8221; he said and <a href="https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN/status/350059749846421504">offered the possibility</a> that his original statement was translated poorly. With MGSV: The Phantom Pain and other titles to Konami taking priority, it&#8217;d be pretty difficult for MGS to be remade.</p>
<p>&#8220;I wouldn&#8217;t mind if talented creator from outside studio making this happen. That&#8217;s what I answered during the itw (interview).&#8221;</p>
