Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth To Make Appearance In Rocket League

The game which blends cars and soccer, Rocket League, is going to have Twisted Metal‘s Ice Cream Truck. Sweet Tooth, for PlayStation 4 consoles only, according to a new trailer.

Rocket League is a pseudo sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, which released originally in 2008 in North America. The new game will feature a single player season mode, a replay system, and new unlockable vehicles and arenas. Psyonix has also mentioned in a press release that there will be “more than 100 customization items, and other surprises.”

Previous cameos from Sony within third party games include: Kratos in both Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, Mortal Kombat and Shovel Knight, Cole McGrath in Street Fighter X Tekken, and Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Shuhei Yoshida in Super Time Force Ultra. Sweet Tooth joins the list for Rocket League.

Rocket League will be releasing on July 7th 2015 for PS4 and PC.
