Two Devil May Cries Are Going Next-Gen Next Year

<p>Ninja Theory is remaking its <em>Devil May Cry<&sol;em> game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – and it runs at 60 frames per second and 1080p resolution&period; The studio&&num;8217&semi;s revisited <em>DmC<&sol;em> to make it run at 1080p and 60 fps in light of the flak the UK developer received last year regarding its DMC&&num;8217&semi;s original&comma; 30 fps release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The <em>Definitive Edition<&sol;em> comes bundles with all the downloadable content &lpar;Vergil&&num;8217&semi;s Downfall campaign&comma; three Dante skins&comma; three Dante weapon skins and the item finder&rpar;&comma; as well as two new skins&colon; Devil May Cry 1 Dante and Classic Vergil&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>New modes of note include a Turbo Mode&comma; in which the game runs 20 percent faster&comma; and Hardcore Mode&period; With the latter&comma; the style system is rebalanced to make ranking up much harder and ranks deteriorate much quicker&period; In addition&comma; Devil Trigger doesn&&num;8217&semi;t launch enemies into the air&comma; parrying takes more skill and all enemies hand out more damage&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Vergil&&num;8217&semi;s Bloody Palace is a new Bloody Palace mode that includes 60 levels and Vergil as the playable character and there&&num;8217&semi;s also new Must Style mode &lpar;players must be at an S rank or higher to deal any damage to enemies&rpar;&comma; and a Gods Must Die Difficulty Mode in which all enemies spawn with Devil Trigger active and no items or health drops can be used&period; Elsewhere&comma; Ninja Theory has added a manual target lock &lpar;with configurable controls&rpar;&comma; which will surely make <em>Devil May Cry<&sol;em> purists blush&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;8MruA6AfRpU<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There is rebalanced gameplay&comma; exploits have been fixed and moves tweaked&period; For example&comma; Dante&&num;8217&semi;s Demon Evade has been rebalanced&comma; frames have been removed from Kablooey shots&comma; Parry&sol;Evade windows have been adjusted and collectibles&comma; keys and doors have been redistributed&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Community mods are also added&comma; such as an optional timer disable for Bloody Palace Mode&comma; a triple dash for Angel Evade and the ability to hit red and blue enemies with any weapon&period; And expect the addition of a new cutscene that never made it into the original game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>DmC Devil May Cry&colon; Definitive Edition<&sol;em> hits PS4s and Xbox Ones <strong>Mar&period; 17th&comma; 2015<&sol;strong> for &dollar;29&period;99&period; Meanwhile&comma; Capcom also announced <em>Devil May Cry 4<&sol;em>&comma; the last Devil May Cry developed by Capcom&comma; will have a Special Edition due out in 2015 and notably divided fans upon its release for starring Nero &&num;8211&semi; not series star Dante&period; The game joins the Playstation 4 exclusive <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;street-fighter-v-gameplay-ps-4-trailer&sol;"><em>Street Fight V<&sol;em><&sol;a> as Capcom&&num;8217&semi;s latest edition to the new generation of consoles&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Via<&sol;strong> <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;ign&period;com&sol;articles&sol;2014&sol;12&sol;15&sol;dmc-definitive-edition-and-devil-may-cry-4-special-edition-coming-to-ps4-and-xbox-one">IGN<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
