Many people believe the PlayStation Vita platform, as a whole, is dying. Sales of the device have been unimpressive since launch and many retailers in the UK have very little if any space for the handheld trying to take on the Nintendo 3DS.

It’s interesting to note that the Vita only turned one year old last Friday and you would expect that within a year some ‘killer-applications’ would had been released for the handheld. But this is not the case.

Despite all of this, Yves Guillemot (Chairman and CEO of Ubisoft) revealed in an interview with InsideGamer that the company are still working on new games for Sony’s platform.

“We are still a number of Vita games busy. I cannot announce anything, but it’s coming. The Vita is not dead for us”.
