In their latest financial report, publisher Ubisoft has announced that they expect the upcoming Far Cry 4 video game to sell 6 million copies in its first year on sale. Whilst this may seem like quite a high figure, its actually not an unreasonable expectation. After all, 2012’s Far Cry 3 shipped over 10 million copies in total and 6 million of them were in its first year. The French company described the next Far Cry instalment as a ”major leap forward” that will ”raise the bar” for the series.
Far Cry 4 launches on November 18 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
