Publisher Udon Entertainment recently announced two new releases aimed at video game fans via The Art Of Shantae and Persona 5: Mementos Mission Volume 1.
The Art Of Shantae
Udon Entertainment announced that The Art Of Shantae hardcover book will be released August 24, 2021. The Art Of Shantae collects the fantastic artwork behind all five games in the Shantae video game series, as well as Shantae memorabilia and concepts that have never been seen before. Follow the creative development of Risky Boots, Rottytops, Sky, Bolo, and the titular heroine herself, in this fantastic hardcover celebration of all things Shantae, available for pre-order now.
Additionally, Udon announced the release of an Online Exclusive Cover variant for the 2021 San Diego Comic-Con online event. Limited to 400 copies, The Art Of Shantae SDCC Exclusive Edition will feature alternate cover art and gold foil stamping. Pre-orders will open on July 19, 2021 at Udon Store.
Both editions of The Art Of Shantae celebrate 25 years of Shantae history from Erin & Matt Bozon’s earliest creations, WayForward’s game series, animation by Studio TRIGGER, and beyond. Included are key artwork, rough concepts, style explorations, creature and environment designs, and more.
The Art Of Shantae SDCC 2021 Exclusive Online Edition will be available for pre-order exclusively from the UDON Store starting July 19, 2021, quantities are limited. The Art Of Shantae Standard Edition will be available on August 24, 2021 and is available for pre-order now.
Persona 5: Mementos Mission Volume 1
Udon Entertainment recently announced the December 7 release of Persona 5: Mementos Mission Volume 1. A side adventure to the ATLUS video game, the all-new, 3-volume manga mystery series written and illustrated by Rokuro Saito features the cast of Persona 5.
Udon also announced their partnership with Barnes & Noble to release an exclusive edition of the manga Featuring brand new cover art by Rokuro Saito and an exclusive fold-out mini poster. The Barnes & Noble exclusive edition will ONLY be available in store and online at Barnes and Noble.
