The big release last week came from Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, a title which was set to be released worldwide on Saturday October 12th but, in the UK at least, seemed to be pointless as many retailers simply started selling the game the day before!
Even though both of the new titles from Nintendo scored relatively well in the UK All Format charts, they did not manage to beat off competition from both GTA V and FIFA 14.
The top ten all format UK titles for the week ending October 12th are as follows:
- Grand Theft Auto V (previously 2nd)
- FIFA 14 (previously 1st)
- Pokemon X (new entry)
- Pokemon Y (new entry)
- Beyond Two Souls (new entry)
- F1 2013 (previously 3rd)
- Just Dance 2014 (previously 9th)
- Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (previously 5th)
- Disney Infinity (previously 6th)
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (previously 4th)
