UK gaming retailers have announced that July 2013 has been their worst month in history stating that their sales were 40.4% lower than in June and 33.3% lower than in July 2012.

This news emerged even after titles such as The Last of Us, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and Animal Crossing: New Leaf continued to make impressive sales as new releases Dynasty Warriors 8, Pikmin 3 and Mario &; Luigi: Dream Team were partly blamed for the reason why the retailers believe their sales were so low. There simply wasn’t enough new releases made.
