<p><em>Super Street Fighter IV</em> is dead, all hail <em>Ultra Street Fighter IV</em>!</p>
<p>That&#8217;s right, Capcom &#8211; at EVO 2013 &#8211; announced a new DLC update for <em>SSFIV</em> that adds five new characters and further balances the game. They then took it a step furthered and upgraded &#8216;Super&#8217; to &#8216;Ultra&#8217;, as that is the next logical step&#8230; right?</p>
<p>The expansion adds Hugo, Poison, Elena, Rolento and a mystery fifth character to the game, and addresses various balancing issues (<a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/combofiend/blog/2013/07/13/super-street-fighter-4-update-info">some are detailed here</a>). It will release digitally for $14.99 and at retail for $40, and both these versions would give you all the content announced so far, and some new content that has yet to be revealed.</p>
<p>Capcom is aiming to release <em>Ultra Street Fighter IV</em> early next year, but until then, check out the game&#8217;s announcement trailer below.</p>
