Under Night In-Birth CLR will be free/paid DLC for UNIST players

Under Night In-Birth is a great fighting game made by the people who brought you the Melty Blood series. As the years went by, the game has received multiple updates and upgrades. In fact, nowadays PC players have been able to join in the fun thanks to UNIST (Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[-st]). Not too long ago, Arc System Works revealed a new version of the game, Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[cl-r].

This new version of UNI will bring a new playable character in the form of the White Knight Londrekia. Furthermore, the game will bring nearly 1,000 balance adjustments and refinements. However, you might be in for a pleasant surprise if you own UNIST on PS4.

UNICLR will be Available as DLC for UNIST PS4 Players

Users who own Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[st] for PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[cl-r] via a free balance update and paid downloadable content. PlayStation 3 and PS Vita version owners will be able to purchase the PlayStation 4 version of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] at a discount. This was all revealed by the game’s Japanese website (Thanks, Gematsu!).

In other words, by installing the update and purchasing various downloadable contents, you can have the same content as a new copy of the game. If you want to get the discount, all you need to do is purchase the digital version of Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[cl-r] for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store. However, you need to use the same PlayStation Network account previously used to purchase the digital version of UNIST.

Are you ready to fight as Hyde, Linne, and other UNIST characters? What do you think about this new version of the game? Will you play as Londrekia once the game releases? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section. The game is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on February 20, 2020, in NA and JP, and Early 2020 in EU.
