Unrecognisable Obscure remake to hit PC and consoles in the spring

<p>Mighty Rocket Studio has announced the upcoming release of <em>Obscure<&sol;em>&comma; which is set to arrive on PS3&comma; Xbox 360 and PC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The original <em>Obscure <&sol;em>was a horror game released on PlayStation 2&comma; Xbox and PC in 2004&comma; and although it received mixed reviews&comma; a sequel appeared three years later&period; While the two games in the series were survival horror titles&comma; the upcoming remake takes a very different approach by being a 2&period;5D side-scrolling action game with a colourful cartoon style&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Featuring both local and online co-operative play for up to four players&comma; <em>Obscure<&sol;em> is&comma; according to the press release&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Geared toward action and all-out brawling&&num;8221&semi;&comma; allowing you to play as one of four uniquely skilled characters and &&num;8220&semi;discover new weapons&comma; and complete objectives throughout a variety of huge&comma; non-linear levels&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Obscure<&sol;em> is scheduled for release on the PlayStation Network&comma; Xbox LIVE and PC in the spring&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
