In either a very big oopsie or a confusing PR stunt by Ubisoft, those who signed up to Watch Dog‘s site for updates and such, had their email addresses leaked. When an email campaign was sent out to users recently, it included the email addresses of other individuals who had signed up (the number of people is apparently in the thousands).
Given that the game is about hacking and all sorts of shenanigans, this could perhaps be part of a wider stunt but it’s not entirely clear at the moment. Still, keep those tin foil hats handy.
