Vanquish Will Slide Onto PC Later This Month

<p>Finally&comma; after recent speculation&comma; <em>Vanquish <&sol;em>is making its way to PC for the first time&period; Coming May 25th&comma; SEGA announced that the game will join the rest of their &&num;8220&semi;Best Practice Conversion Titles&&num;8221&semi; to have come to PC including <em>Bayonetta <&sol;em>and <em>Valkyria Chronicles<&sol;em>&period; Those who have purchased <em>Bayonetta <&sol;em>for PC or do so before May 25th&comma; will receive 25&percnt; off their pre-order of <em>Vanquish<&sol;em>&period; You can check out a trailer for the PC release below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;kOp4XLA0oPk" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>For the uninitiated&comma; <em>Vanquish <&sol;em>puts players in control of Sam Gideon as he slides through high-energy combat scenarios in a stylish mix of gunfire and melee combat&period; There was even a dedicated button to smoke&excl; It was an insanely fast-paced game with so much style that it is no surprise it was directed by Shinji Mikami&comma; of <em>Resident Evil <&sol;em>fame&period; With the PC version&comma; the game will have an unlocked framerate&comma; 4k support&comma; a slew of graphics options&comma; and full mouse and keyboard support&period; The game will be available on Steam with full Steam functionality including achievements and trading cards&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There will also be a Digital Deluxe edition of the game available only to those who pre-order&period; It will include a 5-track soundtrack sampler&comma; avatars of characters and enemies&comma; an art book and exclusive wallpapers&period; If you don&&num;8217&semi;t get it before May 25th&comma; the Digital Deluxe edition will revert back to the Standard Edition and you&&num;8217&semi;ll miss out on its special features&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>If you&&num;8217&semi;re a fan of the <em>Bayonetta <&sol;em>series or Platinum Games in general&comma; you owe it to yourself to pick up and play <em>Vanquish<&sol;em>&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s probably my favourite of Platinum&&num;8217&semi;s offerings&comma; and that&&num;8217&semi;s amidst a ton of great action games&period; Let us know in the comments below whether you&&num;8217&semi;ll be picking this game up now that its available on PC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; SEGA Press Release<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
