The latest firmware update has been released for PlayStation Vita.

Version 2.01 is mandatory for all users and not just those who are signed up to Sony’s PlayStation Plus service, even though a prominent fix provided by the latest update involves the service.

The problem in question involved PS Plus subscribers being unable to access cloud saving, a feature provided by the Plus service. The previous version, 2.00, has now been replaced with 2.01, however, which has fixed the bug and which should be downloaded automatically through PS Plus.
