Telltale Games has announced a festive offer for iOS users in the form of Episode 1 of The Walking Dead for free.
The first episode in a total of five is currently available for free on the iTunes App Store, although there is no word on how long this offer will remain in place. While downloading the base app costs nothing, the following four episodes are priced at $4.99 each as in-app purchases.
All five episodes of the game were recently released as a complete physical collection, while the game itself garnered a number of awards at the recent 2012 Video Game Awards, netting awards such as “Game of the Year”, “Best Adapted Video Game”, and “Best Downloadable Game”.
