The Walking Dead: GOTY Edition Could Be Coming to PS4 This Summer

Incoming reports cite that a Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition may be coming to the Playstation 4 this summer after the sighting of a recent Gamestop listing.

As shown in the screenshot taken from Gamestop’s website below, the game is slated to release in North America June 17, at a $30 price point, proudly brandishing a PS4 logo in its apparently complete box art.

Already out on PS3, X-Box 360, and PC, The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition composes its first five episodes along with its DLC follow-up of 400 Days, its soundtrack, and a behind-the-scenes video. No details regarding the PS4 version’s goodies have been disclosed, but it can be assumed for now that it includes the same.

It also remains unclear whether the X-Box One will receive a similar GOTY edition. Telltale has yet to formally confirm either new-generation release, so we’ll just have to await further word.

This latest headline for the studio’s acclaimed post-apocalyptic, point-and-click adventure follows its announcement of bringing The Walking Dead’s second season to PS Vita on April 22, now out everywhere games are sold.

If you haven’t played the Walking Dead’s first or second season yet, fans and critics alike recommend that you do. Check out its launch trailer for its current season down above.
