It’s no secret that the Telltale episodic series of the The Walking Dead has been blowing up all over the place. People are just going crazy while having to wait on another episode. So I wonder how they will react now that there is talk of another season to come.
They are currently on episode 2 with 3 more to come for PC, Xbox and PS3. On its release on the PlayStation Store it was the highest downloaded psn game and it released near the end of that month so you can see people have become infected by the game.
There will be a full retail version of the series once all the episodes have been released. This was the same case for their previous title Back To The Future which showed what the team could do with a very simple concept. But The Walking Dead grows on that and adds in life and death choices. Your consequences will change how the game plays out and how you will be remembered in the world.
Last week there was also an announcement of a FPS Walking Dead. When Telltale’s Steve Allison was asked about it he had this to say on the matter.
“As huge fans of the franchise and the show, we’re looking forward to seeing Terminal Reality’s game when it comes out.”
We currently know that the third episode in the series is lined up for a August release. No specific date announced but keep checking back to the site for updates on this. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
