Fatshark is very happy to announce the launch of Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide in Standard and Collector’s editions on Steam, Gamersgate, Humble Store, and Greenman Gaming.

According to the CEO of Fatshark, Martin Wahlund: “After over two years of development, we are excited to launch Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide on PC. We’ve been blown away by the positive feedback from the over 140,000 gamers who have purchased the pre-order to enjoy Vermintide’s fast and furious cooperative action”.

In Vermintide, players must team up to help defend the city of Ubersreik against an invasion of the rodent-men hordes of Skaven, with battles taking place over 13 levels. These levels will range from the Magnus Tower to the Under Empire and all points in between.

Players will choose from five different heroes:

The Witch Hunter – Who uses a combo of pistols and bladed weapons

The Bright Wizard –A pyromancer who uses both spells and magical weapons

The Dwarven Ranger – Who primarily uses great-axes and war-hammers with dwarf-made ranged weapons

The Waywatcher – A highly skilled archer with elven blades for melee attacks

The Empire Soldier – Who focuses mainly on one-handed weapon attacks, with handguns for ranged attacks

There are hundreds of weapons for the classes to choose from, allowing players to adjust to their preferred style of combat and gameplay preference.

In Vermintide the enemies adhere to a dynamic spawn system, and as the Skaven are skilled climbers and leapers, the players can’t outrun them and will be encountering foes no matter where they venture.
