Warner Brothers Working on Aquaman Script

<p>While <strong>Aquaman<&sol;strong> is already set to make an appearance in <em><strong>Batman V Superman&colon; Dawn of Justice<&sol;strong><&sol;em> and<em><strong> Justice League<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&comma; Warner Brothers is hoping to expand the character into his own film&period; Two scripts are going to be written by two different writers&colon; Will Beall &lpar;<em><strong>Gangster Squad<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&rpar; and Kurt Johnstad &lpar;<em><strong>300&colon; Rise of an Empire<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&rpar;&period; Why two&quest; Warner Brothers is using a dual-track development method in which two writers make different scripts in hopes that one will turn out to be best&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s not entirely unheard of as this method was previously used on <em><strong>Bad Santa<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s not exactly a confident method&comma; but a quick way to get a lot of content fast&period; <strong>Aquaman<&sol;strong> is currently set to be played in the two upcoming DC films by Jason Momoa &lpar;<em><strong>Game of Thrones<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&rpar;&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s still too early to tell what date the film will be set for even with Warner Brothers announcing a slew of release dates for untitled DC projects&period; Why the interest in Aquaman&quest; Apparently director Zack Snyder &lpar;<em><strong>Batman V Superman&colon; Dawn of Justice<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&rpar; digs the character based on how he defended him during a radio interview&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>You guys were disparaging&comma; a little bit&comma; Aquaman…I don’t want to give anything away about the movie or anything like that but Aquaman has some cool abilities&period; People are like&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Oh what&quest; Does he talk to animals&quest; Cause that seems like what he does&period; Or fish&quest;” The cool thing with Aquaman is his Trident&period; So you have to realize that could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact&period; That’s a thing that’s in the canon&period; He’s super strong cause of course he can exist at these super deep depths so when he comes up here he’s crazy strong&period; Anyway&comma; not to say he’s in my movie or anything like that but he has the potential to be bad ass&comma; that’s all I’m saying&period;<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;hollywoodreporter&period;com&sol;heat-vision&sol;aquaman-movie-hooks-two-writers-724966">THR<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
