Last week, we brought you part 1 of Batman’s Arkham exploits saving two hostages from a Gotham City chemical plant.
Today, we’re pleased to bring you part two of the Dark Knight’s infiltration of the plant as he journeys deeper into the mysterious Arkham Knight’s plans. Part 3 is due from developer Rocksteady Studios soon, as is further information on the game’s inner workings at the Video Game Awards this Dec. 5th as well as Sony’s Playstation Experience conference the following days in Las Vegas, Nevada Dec. 6th-7th.
For close to a year, the Arkham Knight‘s gone through a variety of flashy reveals, the least of which was its move from fall of this year to summer of next. That the Batmobile was playable as Batman’s means of fast-travel in the game were among the first to woo fans as well as the rumored motive for the game’s substantial delay in tandem with managing the massive open-world of Gotham City itself.
Taking place a year after the events of Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight follows Batman’s fight against Gotham City’s newly united super villains on the night that Scarecrow unleashes his plan to wreak his terrifying revenge on the urban populace alongside his masked henchmen, the Arkham Knight.
Rocksteady offers players the chance to “Be the Batman” June 6th, 2015 for Xbox One, Windows for PC, and Playstation 4, the latter of which comes with the exclusive Red Hood DLC pack featuring the titular anti-hero in his very own story mission.
