Remember Watch Dogs from E3 last year? Of course you do. It was, like, one of the highlights of the whole event. A new IP from Ubisoft where you can hack the technology around you? Yes please!
Anyway, a couple of images received by Kotaku reveal a few interesting things regarding the title. For starters, it’ll be releasing this holiday season for ‘all home consoles,’ may also be coming to next-gen systems (the G4 quote states that it’s a ‘truly next-gen adventure’) and these images came from a GameStop location –note the Power Up Rewards on the upper right of the second image. Pre-ordering for exclusive content is also shown, so maybe we can expect pre-orders to start soon?
Meanwhile, the ‘all home consoles’ line does imply that Watch Dogs will be coming to platforms other than the Xbox and PlayStation. Ubisoft has yet to say anything about the matter, but I’m sure we’ll find out when the time is right…or when that info is leaked. Whichever.
