Square Enix just released a new gameplay video, that shows off it’s open environments and jaw-dropping scenery on their YouTube channel. It’s titled as a walkthrough but ends up being more of Noctis, the hero of the game, running around the open world with his party members. The opening of the video, with it’s swelling musical score and gargantuan dinosaur-like creatures is reminiscent of that classic scene in Jurassic Park, and then goes on to feature the characters running, catching their breath and then running some more–with the lush environments and wildlife making the otherwise uneventful video actually quite a sight to behold.
Final Fantasy: 15 has yet to solidify a release date for either PS4 or Xbox One but looks to be in good hands under Director Hajime Tabata who had previously directed the development of previous Final Fantasy games FF Type-0 and Before Crisis: FF7.
