Sony Reveals InFamous: Second Son Preorder Bonuses

Sony have revealed what exclusive goodies gamers will get their hands on if they place a preorder for InFamous: Second Son for the new PS4, coming February 2014 (the game, not the console).

Those who do place a preorder will receive a total of four “exclusive” in-game vests for the main character, Delsin Rowe, to wear whilst playing through the game.

Princess Peach Confirmed to be in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS

The 15th playable character for the next Super Smash Bros. has been revealed, and it’s none other than Princess Peach. Peach has been in every iteration of Super Smash Bros., so is it really a surprise that she’s going to be in the next one?

You can find several more screenshots of Peach in action over at her character page on the Smash Bros. website.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS is set to release next year.

PS4 Japan Release Date Revealed: Feb 2014 But Get Knack For Free

Spare a thought for our friends over in the land of the rising son this holiday season when your stuffing yourself full of festive food and getting into your newly bought, next generation consoles as Japanese gamers will not be getting either the Xbox One or the PS4 in 2013.

This news emerges as Sony confirms that Japanese gamers will be getting the PS4 on February 22nd 2014 nearly three month after American and European markets.

PlayStation Vita TV Announced

Sony, during their pre-TGS show last night, announced a new piece of PlayStation Hardware: The PlayStation Vita TV.

Coming to Japan on November 14th for 9,480 yen ($95), or 14,280 ($143) for a special bundle that includes a DualShock 3 controller and an 8GB memory card, the PS Vita TV will allow you to play your Vita and PSP games on your TV while using the DualShock 3 controller. Video services like Hulu will also be supported by the hardware and, in a future update, you’ll be able to play your PlayStation 4 via Remote Play.

As someone who doesn’t have a Vita, but is becoming increasingly interested in the system, this seems like a perfect, cheaper option to play some Vita titles. Places outside of Japan have yet to get a release date or pricing yet, but it’d be incredible odd if this tech didn’t come to North America, Europe and the rest.
