Below, you’ll find brief summaries of our top 5 stories from this week, as well as a few stories that were interesting, but weren’t quite that big to make the cut. Number 5

Rosalina Joins the Super Smash Bros. Roster

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS had a new combatant announced during today’s Nintendo Direct and it’s none other than Rosalina, who recently appeared in Super Mario 3D World.

Rosalina joins the fray with her starry friend Luma and the two work in tandem to take down their foes.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS releases next year.

Number 4

New Character Available for Tekken Revolution

Tekken Revolution has a new character available: the lady vampire, Eliza. A contest at San Diego Comic-Con resulted in Eliza’s character concept being picked for the title. In order to unlock and play as Eliza, gamers will have to obtain Blood Seals which are given after matches.

Tekken Revolution is a free-to-play title available for the PS3 via the PSN.

Nintendo Announces Hyrule Warriors, Coming in 2014

Nintendo announced a new Legend of Zelda title that didn’t follow the traditional Zelda format that we’re used to.

Called Hyrule Warriors (working title), the game is being developed by Tecmo Koei and will bring the action heavy world of Dynasty Warriors and combine it with the locations, enemies, weapons and characters from Zelda.

Eiji Aonuma and his team will produce the title, which is set to launch sometime next year for the Wii U.

Minecraft: PS3 Edition Came to NA and Europe This Week

Minecraft: PS3 Edition is releasing this week, Mojang announced today. It has a release date of Dec. 17th in NA and Dec. 18th in Europe.

The game will be identical to the Xbox 360 version, with the two to be developed for in parallel. Downloadable skins and texture packs will be available in the PS Store soon after its release, as well as a day-one update that Mojang recommends be downloaded and installed.

As or right now, Minecraft: PS3 Edition won’t support Remote Play, but with the game announced for both PS4 and PS Vita, expect this feature to be implemented at some point in the future.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Coming to PS Vita in March

Square Enix has revealed the release date of the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for PS Vita, and it’s set to come out alongside its PS3 counterpart on March 18th. it will also cost $39.99 and support cross saves.

Should you be the kind of person who prefers a physical copy of the game, it will also be sold at retail, but will come with FFX on disc and a voucher for X-2.

Additionally, Square also detailed a Collector’s Edition for the game, which will be exclusive to the publisher’s online store and will come with the following for $79.99.
