<p>Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-Up, the weekly (and ever evolving) time when we look at the top five news stories of the week, in no particular order.</p>
<p>Sorry we missed last week, we had some communication issues that kept this from being published. Luckily, we are back and hopefully better than ever. Below is a brief summary, but for the full stories simply click on the hyperlink. So, here’s the list without further adieu:</p>

<p><a href="https://bagogames.com/ubisoft-ceo-gen-consoles-required/">Ubisoft CEO Yves</a> Guillemot said in an interview that he believes the lack of new gaming software is ultimately hurting the industry. Guillemot claims that it is easier for developers at the beginning of a console cycle because of the lower risk involved for developers to create new IPs.</p>

<p>Concerns over <a href="https://bagogames.com/wp-admin/Concerns%20over%20‘blurry’%20screens%20on%20the%203DS%20XL%20were%20addressed%20earlier%20by%20Takashi%20Murakami%20(Nintendo’s%20research%20and%20development%20unit)%20when%20he%20was%20asked%20about%20possible%20problems%20by%20Nintendo’s%20CEO,%20Satoru%20Iwata.">‘blurry’ screens on the 3DS XL</a> were addressed earlier by Takashi Murakami (Nintendo’s research and development unit) when he was asked about possible problems by Nintendo’s CEO, Satoru Iwata.Murakami responded that he has incredible eye sight so he can see a slight difference, but most people will not be able to tell a difference.</p>

<p>There have been reports in Japan of <a href="https://bagogames.com/vita-heating-literally/">PlayStation Vita’s overheating</a> while being charged. So far, 31 Vita’s have shown this problem. 23 of them in Japan and the rest are based in North America, United Kingdom and Australia. Sony reports on this saying that it will not be issuing a recall.</p>

<p>Activision’s newest IP,<em> <a href="http://www.skylanders.com/">Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventures</a></em>, appears to have done much better than many had anticipated. The game’s sequel, <em><a href="http://www.skylanders.com/giants">Skylanders Giants</a>,</em> was announced by <a href="https://bagogames.com/skylanders-giants-release-date/">Activision on February 7, 2012</a>, and the release date has officially been set for October 19, 2012 in the UK, while the US release is scheduled for October 21, 2012.</p>

<p>Kotaku released a few photos of what appeared to be a <em><a href="https://bagogames.com/leaked-photos-monster-hunter-playstation-vita-game-surface/">Monster Hunter game playing on the PlayStation Vita</a></em>. The photos appeared on a Chinese bulletin board, and show a screen shot of the game inside the screen borders of a Vita. The photos appear to be photoshopped and Kotaku has since apologized to their readers for getting their hopes up.</p>
