Capcom Reveals RE6’s On-Disc DLC Won’t Cost Players a Cent

Capcom has officially announced that it will be launching FREE DLC for Resident Evil 6. It of course happens to be the on-disc DLC components found earlier this week by a clever gamer. “Two free DLC items will arrive as a title update soon; No Hope difficulty mode (which is, y’know, super hard) and a co-op partner for Ada’s campaign,” stated on Capcom Unity. When addressing the on-disc element, Capcom remarked, “some data of this update is on the disc, but said data is incomplete and requires the actual download to access. But again, free.”

Borderlands 2′s Mechromancer DLC Out a Full Week Early

It’s true, you’re not seeing things, nor are you dreaming, believe me. It would seem that Gearbox got fed up with waiting for next week to release their Mechromancer character for Borderlands 2, so instead they released it today. How about that? You can check out the character’s skill tree on the Borderlands 2 website, similar to the previous four characters skill trees, and get a glimpse of what skills you’re interested in using.

Ragnarok Odyssey Release Date Announced

Looks like the Playstation Vita is getting some much needed support in the month of October, XSEED Games has announced that Ragnarok Odyssey will be available on October 30th. Ragnarok Odyssey will be available for both physical and digital purchase, and there will even be a Collector’s Edition available. Ragnarok Odyssey is an action packed RPG, which is a genre that the Vita is seriously lacking in. You get to customize your character, choose one of six classes, and battle in an open world adventure. The gameplay is modeled after the revolutionary Phantasy Star Online, so expect an insanely fun action system. Ragnarok Odyssey will go for $39.99 and the Collector’s Edition will be $10 more (just look at all the physical goodies it comes with!)

Rayman Legends Delayed Until Q1 2013

If you were planning on sitting down this holiday season with your brand new Wii U and a copy of Rayman Legends, I have bad news. Ubisoft announced today that Rayman Legends has been pushed back to a Q1 2013 release window. Whether this move has anything to do with the possibility of a multi-platform announcement being made for the game is up for debate, but one thing is certain: Gamers will have to wait until at least early next year to run around as everyone’s favorite limbless hero.

Captain Scarlett & Her Pirate’s Booty DLC Gets A Release Date, Pricing

The Captain Scarlett DLC for Borderlands 2 was already revealed due to a leak from earlier this week, but now Gearbox has gone ahead and officially announced the DLC, as well as a release date. Set to come out next Tuesday, Captain Scarlett & Her Pirate’s Booty will be the first campaign add-on for Borderlands 2; meaning that it’s covered by the Season Pass ($29.99/2400 MS Points) for the game, if you bought it. Otherwise, it’ll cost you $9.99/800 MS Points. The announcement doesn’t go into what the add-on will actually contain, but you can always check out the leaked info yourself.
