Crystal Dynamics has announced that their upcoming reboot of Tomb Raider has been delayed to the first quarter of 2013.  Multiple reports have been seen on the Diablo 3 forums about a game-breaking bug. The game breaks whenever a player trades equipment with a Templar follower that is encountered early in the game. After the interaction, players are kicked out of the game and receive an error message. Blizzard is aware of the issue and is currently looking at a fix. Until then DON’T TRADE WITH THE TEMPLAR!

They will also be performing the dialogue and overseeing the development. Since it is a South Park game, developer Obsidian has stated the game will include crass humor , lots of swearing and children dying, as is consistent with the series.

38 Studios, the developer behind Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning have been in hot water with the state of Rhode Island after defaulting on their monthly guaranteed payment of $1.125 million. Earlier this week, the studio sent the state a check, but said it didn’t have the funds to back it. The studio was also unable to make their payroll. Somehow the studio was able to find the funds to make a payment and they are currently looking for private backers in order to keep the studio afloat.
