Yes, we’re getting another Need for Speed this year and it’s getting unveiled this week. EA’s announced that we’ll be getting a chance to witness “the return of NFS” this Thursday, May 21st.
In the announcement of their announcement in the image taken from Need for Speed’s Facebook page down below, the company encourages you to subscribe to their YouTube channel to see the series’ latest entry at the first opportunity.
It’s been two years since the series’ last game, Need for Speed: Rivals, came out for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows for PC. It’s not known if this new Need for Speed will be cross-gen like its predecessor, but a few studios like Activision and Ubisoft recently have begun all but ditching last-gen altogether with series like Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, and Call of Duty.
