Although there may be nothing new in terms of retail releases for the Nintendo Wii U, there is quite a lot going on through the consoles eShop, Nintendo’s answer to the PSN store and XBLA service which is competitors regularly push and promote.
During Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Direct video it was announced that a virtual console game (some Nes, some Snes) would be made available at one per month at the fabulously discounted price of £0.30/$0.30 to celebrate the Famicon’s 30th Anniversary. As anyone with £0.30 will tell you, this is obviously going to be a successful deal, regardless of the games included.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the top ten Wii U eShop games, courtesy of Nintendo Everything:
- Balloon Fight (we told you it would win. Shame on you if you didn’t guess!)
- The Cave
- Puddle
- Little Inferno
- Trine 2: Director’s Cut
- Nano Assault Neo
- New Super Mario Bros. U
- Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition
- Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
- Scribblenauts Unlimited
