The Deluxe Wii U will see a price drop from $349 to $299 on September 20th, Nintendo has announced.

The new, lower price will go into effect alongside the Wii U/Wind Waker HD bundle, which is also set to release on September 20th. The bundle comes with a 32GB, black Wii U, a Zelda-themed Gamepad, and digital copies of both Wind Waker HD and the Hyrule Hystoria book.

“Nintendo has one of the strongest and most diverse video game lineups in our history,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president. “Today we’re making those unique Nintendo experiences more accessible and affordable. However you play and whatever you play, Nintendo has you covered.”

I guess I’m running out of excuses to not buy a Wii U. Great.
