Nintendo yesterday finally announced support for the virtual console on the Nintendo Wii U. Many gamers have been shouting out for the service since the console originally launched and with Balloon Fight now available (for a ridiculously low price) details have emerged of the service.
This is no simple feat on Nintendo’s half. Wii U VC games will support Miiverse, allowing you to easily communicate and help fellow gamers who are struggling to complete games. You can also post screenshots of games you are playing.
But it doesn’t stop there however; playing retro games on the Wii U allows you to even customize the controls, allowing you to map them on the GamePad, Wii Remote, Wii U Pro Controller or even the Wii Classic Controller. If you want to move right when you press left (for some bizarre reason) then you can now finally do so!
