Natsume was on Twitter the past two days doing the slightest teasing of Wild Guns-related news. Now that teasing has led to an official announcement of Wild Guns Reloaded – a new PS4-exclusive Wild Guns title.

On May 10th, Natsume took to Twitter and posted “Annie, those guys are tough” and then followed that up yesterday with a tweet reading “Why, are you scared, Clint?“. The two tweets mention the main characters of the Super Nintendo title, Wild Guns, which was developed and published by Natsume. The company then followed those tweets up today with the previously mentioned announcement of Wild Guns Reloaded.

Introducing WILD GUNS RELOADED! Clint &; Annie return in a new PS4 exclusive. Stay tuned for details at E3 2016. pic.twitter.com/7AXeJ6lqh3

There is no other information on the title, but it seems based on the phrase “new PS4 exclusive” that this is probably an entirely new adventure. The original game was a mix between western and steampunk aesthetics, with the gameplay falling more in line of shooting gallery games like you would find at carnivals and amusement parks. If I were to wager a guess, I’d say they’re probably going to ditch that type of gameplay for something a little more modern. We’ll know for sure what is happening with Clint and Annie when E3 2016 rolls arounds.
