Perhaps the game I am most excited to see released this year, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is set to be more timely than ever. Stepping back into the shoes of BJ Blazkowicz, players will be leading a resistance against Nazi-occupied America. If you’re not already sold on the premise, below is a launch trailer to help sway you one way or another.
Blazkowicz returns from his adventure in Europe to find America filled to the brim with Nazis and he simply cannot stomach it. He leads an American resistance in an attempt to take back his homeland and breathe life back in the United States. Developed again by MachineGames, Wolfenstein II is shaping up to be another surprisingly deep-dive into the character of BJ Blazkowicz. As the launch trailer implies, there will be no shortage of violence and mayhem at players’ disposal as you take out Nazis, KKK, and other fascist regimes. Everything is set for this to be a fantastic game and an enjoyable sequel for fans of The New Order.
